Vice President, Sales
Walnut Creek , CA

We're looking for a very savvy sales executive from the mobile space to take on building a global sales force from the ground up, creating territories, designing compensation plans that will attract the best and brightest, developing and implementing lead generation, tracking systems, and managing the pipeline and forecasting process. Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with the VP Marketing and Business Development and the rest of the executive staff, you'll develop the go-to-market plan, integrating it with the product rollout, and establish pricing policies and sales initiatives.

Initially, you will be an individual contributor, launching the sales function of the company with your network of mobile content vendors, mobile device OEMs and mobile carriers. As sales take off (and they will take off, this is a very much-needed service) and as the company grows, you will hire and build the sales team.

You have a strong and verifiable track record as a senor sales executive with a mobile software company, a test automation company, or middleware platform vendor. You have experience building a global sales team for a startup, and have active contacts with mobile application and content developers, device OEMs, mobile carriers and/or porting and certification service houses. Compensation is DOE, with a base plus bonuses, commissions based on results, and stock options. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a high-energy, knowledgeable founding team, and to add your talents and experience to creating value.
